Dear Students,
Can you believe that you have finished your 9th grade year?! You are ending your time here at Sunset Ridge Middle School and embarking on a new journey as you prepare to move onto new schools, new teachers, and new opportunities. I have loved being your Language Arts teacher. This year has had its roller coaster moments, but I have appreciated your support as we both learned the 9th grade curriculum together. More importantly than the vocab word definitions or the correct placement of the semicolon, I hope you remember the true life lessons that we have discussed over the school year. I wanted to review a few of my favorites with you now:
Students, thank you once again. I love teaching you; I love interacting with you; I love learning with your; I love hearing of your successes. I teach Language Arts not because of my love for books (although that is true too); I teach Language Arts because of how truly applicable the themes are. I hope you are able to reflect on some of the life lessons we covered over the school year and apply them to help you have a happier and more successful life. I dream of the best for all of you! I love you! - Mrs. Macey
